Latest News

English school for children

An unforgettable learning experience.

Parents were given the opportunity to observe how engaged their children are with Pingu’s English, which uses the lovable TV character Pingu to teach English language skills in a more fun and memorable way.

Parents gave compliments about the excellent standards of the English learning course for children, its wonderful philosophy, and the high quality of the school campus.

Representing Pingu’s English from the Head Office in London, UK, were Business Development Managers Lucy Mills and Mark Simpson. Also present were the CEO and Directors of  EduWorld Company Limited, the Master Licensee of Pingu’s English Myanmar, Bryan Yen, Evan Chor and Gabriel Wong.

Parents were glad to see how young children learn with the English learning course that doesn’t just teach young children a new language but also helps them develop additional skills such as motor control through colouring, drawing and singing.

Fun for everyone.

Everyone at the soft launch enjoyed listening to the playful teachers during the fun speaking activities which introduced basic English.

It was clear from the teaching demonstration how Pingu’s English offers a complete learning experience through: communication and language; knowledge and understanding of the world; expressive and aesthetic development; Emotional, personal and social development; Physical development and movement.

Pingu’s English is based on sound pedagogical research that has shown how we all learn in different ways, from kinaesthetic movement and linguistic words, to mathematical numbers, social skills – using all five of our senses.English school for children 2
This proven English learning method helps young children gain confidence in the use of English naturally while teaching valuable life lessons about topics such the environment, music and the natural world.

The Myanmar team will have their official and ceremonial launch on 11th February 2017, with the honoured presence of Mr. Douglas Barnes, Director, Department for International Trade (DIT), Burma, from the British Embassy, Rangoon and Mr. Sai Nay Shine, Sector Lead for Education.

Following will be the Summer Programme which will start in March, running until May. Afterwards, Myanmar will look to begin their national academic year in June.

Saving the children.

Pingu’s English has also generated significant interest from the Save the Children charity in Myanmar, where English Programme for kids will be taught in 347 schools.

This will also allow passionate and keen investors in nearby countries to benefit through the success of similar business models for English Schools in Vietnam and Cambodia driving unrivalled success in the early education industry.

In fact Cambodia’s 2014-2018 Education Strategic Plan (ESP) set some important priority goals for early education which include increased enrolment in community pre-school and home-based care services for the poor, ethnic minorities, and children with disabilities. This boosted enrolment in pre-schools for five-year-olds to 80% in 2017-2018.

Testimonials

We at the British Chamber of Commerce worked with Linguaphone Group to find them a new in-market partner for the Korean market. Throughout the engagement we had with Linguaphone Group, we found them to be passionate about education, supremely professional in their approach to business and both responsive and personable in their interactions with ourselves and Korean partners. Korean investors were attracted to the best-in-class program which Linguaphone Group offers, the strong reputation of the company and the heritage with which it is associated. These are qualities that resonate globally.

Our Experience with Pingu’s English has been profitable and positive from the first year. We relied on their professionalism and heritage, their staff is always prompt to assist with the latest trends and ideas on the market. We were looking for a brand who can guarantee us quality and a solid method but at the same time would leave us the freedom and flexibility in order to succeed in our challenging and competitive market like the Italian one. We built Pingu’s English project in Italy by mixing their huge international experience in the English training with our knowledge of the Italian market. All this enabled us to do the right decision for our winning investment. Today we have over 40 Pingu’s English centres and thousands of happy children learning English.

I knew about Pingu’s English School through a friend. After research about the school, I decided to enroll my daughter and it was one of the best things I could do to her. She loves studying at Pingu’s English and she cannot wait to the day of the class. I also love Pingu's English School, because there she learns by playing and I can see her progress day by day.

Now she is studying at Pingu’s English School, my daughter only wants to talk to me in English and she is always singing the songs.

Regarding the teaching method they use a figurative storytelling way of starting the lesson,  trying hard to involve the child and make the them curious about the situation. Tom is very happy to go to Pingu’s English because he perceives the School as a playful moment and not just as a learning moment while at the same time he is learning a new language

Veronica

Pingu's English Student's Mother /Italy
